The Hold stitches together the lives of twenty-four women living in isolation amidst a pandemic, fronting the act of community creativity and collaboration in a world where the traditional threads of life had become frayed. Led by award winning visual artist, Mary Sullivan, The Hold creates a new site of possibility on an island where the ordinary becomes extraordinary through the documentation of the lived experiences of island women.
